WHO WE LOOK FOR
Sales or management background, maybe in retail, restaurants or finance but you’re tired of corporate life. Highly driven and motivated by achievement, you’re business savvy but need a flexible work schedule and may have interest in a field of art.
You’ve been a daycare or preschool director, a full-time teacher, a care program site leader or a school administrator, but now you’re ready to move into a more lucrative career path, while remaining in the education field you have such passion for.
THE CRAFTY PARENT
Have been a stay-at-home mom who’s ready to re-enter the workforce. Maybe your kids are grown, or old enough to come to work with you. You throw the best birthday parties on the block and just can’t get enough of Pinterest, Etsy or photography.
You believe passionately that art education is a vital part of childhood development. You’re fairly knowledgeable about the arts, art history, and the masters, and you want to bring that knowledge forward to the next generation of future artists.
A GREAT KIDCREATE FRANCHISE OWNER IS…
Someone who understands how important art education for children is, and is ready to help fill the void by providing children in their communities with a fun and truly enriching ongoing experience.
We have identified the ideal types of owners, who are much more likely to not only achieve the levels of success we are accustomed to at Kidcreate, but also likely to find true fulfillment in their new business.
“It was really scary for me, to leave a job that I was very good at. But I knew deep down that I was destined for more than being just another cog in corporate America. I took the ultimate leap of faith, started my first Kidcreate Studio and it was the best decision I ever made.”
– Lara Olson
KIDCREATE STUDIO FOUNDER
To help us both determine whether you will be a great fit for the Kidcreate Studio franchise family, we may invite you to begin our Discovery Process. Over this 4-6 week process we will help educate you on all aspects of the Kidcreate Studio business model, while simultaneously learning about you, your background and your business goals.
Here are the major milestones of the Discovery Process:
You’ll complete a short Questionnaire providing us with a little more information about you. Then we can send you the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), providing you with a lot more information about us!
We schedule a phone call to get better acquainted and to find out what it is you’re looking for in a business opportunity. You’ll learn more about the system, the industry and what makes Kidcreate a success.
BUSINESS MODEL REVIEW
Join us for a webinar to start digging deeper into the brand, the business model, our support and marketing programs and much much more. This visual, informative webinar is about 30 minutes in length.
The Franchise Disclosure Document provides you with details on the business opportunity, including protocols, investment levels and detailed financial performance for our open locations.
We encourage you to speak with one or more of our Franchise Owners. You get to ask about owning a Kidcreate; they get to learn about you, and provide feedback on whether you will be a good fit.
Candidates who continue to show promise as a potential partner will be invited to Minnesota to meet our Corporate team, tour our studios, “see behind the curtain” and spend time with the founders.
At this stage, there are just a few more questions to go over so that our executive team has all the information they need to decide whether or not they will be awarding you a franchise agreement.
Finally, if we are both still feeling excited about working with each other, then we get to say, “CONGRATULATIONS!” You’re now part of our family and a Kidcreate Studio franchise owner!
