HOW KENERLY FOUND OUR ART STUDIO FRANCHISE
As a parent of two young children, Kenerly was looking for a career change that would allow her to spend more time at home with their family but also allow her the freedom to be in control of her own destiny. She wanted to go back to work after spending nearly three years at home with her two kids, Ziona and Laureate, but she wanted to do it on her own terms. After feeling comfortable with the idea to allow her kids to enter day care, Kenerly began to look for opportunities for her own career life. The opportunity to be her own boss and work for herself was very appealing, as was the possibility of being able to create her own flexible work schedule and bring balance to her family life.
Although she did not necessarily begin her search looking for franchise opportunities, she quickly decided that would be the best approach for herself. Kenerly had fond memories of putting her own kids in enrichment activities and was amazed at how much parents invest into their children through enrichment programs. She soon came across an advertisement for the franchise opportunity at Kidcreate while searching for businesses for sale and felt that it was the right fit for her situation. The idea of being involved in working with children just seemed to make sense since her own kids would definitely be involved in and around the family business themselves. Working with children has always been a passion for her- particularly doing art projects, which is something she enjoys doing at home with her own kids. Her kitchen is full of Fridge worthy masterpieces that her own kids created. Kenerly is looking forward to having the ability to invest in her children’s future and build a family legacy as a business owner as well as helping children in the community find their passion for art and creativity
