If you’re reading this blog, then it probably means that you’re familiar with our education franchise, Kidcreate Studio, and our background. Our Founder, Lara Olson, started Kidcreate Studio after she was discouraged with the limited amount of exposure her son was receiving, in relation to the arts, at school. When it came to art, Lara’s son, Jake, found tremendous joy in every part of the creative process and the feelings of frustration that he was experience in some of his other classes melted away. Lara believed, and still believes, in the power of art to teach, inspire, and build self-esteem in children of all ages. She also understood that art creates a fun learning environment for children which is exactly what many kids need and what many parents are looking for, especially in this day and age. Lara saw a need for art education and, in 2007, decided to start Kidcreate Studio.
Over the course of the last 13 years, we have been able to provide children aged 18 months to 12 years old the art education opportunities that they desire. In addition to our on-the-go studio model, we are the ONLY education franchise with a brick-and-mortar location, as well! Parents love Kidcreate Studio because there is no mess to clean up at their house, their children get to flex their creative muscles, and we are a great way to supplement any additional art education that their children may be receiving in school, however minimal. Children love it because they get to socialize, they get to have fun (while learning), and, well… they get to make a MESS!
With the recent events that have been going on across the globe, however, businesses are having to suspend their activities everywhere – including schools. A child’s early years are some of, if not THE most important years for learning and development which is something that we at Kidcreate Studio take extremely seriously. This is why we are excited to announce the development and implementation of our art kits which our Franchise Owners can send directly to homes of the parents and children that visit their locations! In addition to these Art Kits, we have also created online instructions that correlate with each kit! We offer 2 art kits a week, currently, and we are looking to add to the number of kits, as well!
